Thanks IAN for writing and sharing it here. Loved the wallet segmentation across devices.

In parallel, I was looking into the business models of Crypto wallets. This is in principle to any product that delivers vale, what is the sustainable model around it

You shared about Metamask revenues around swaps and Bridges . This was an excellent break up. Also, you mentioned neither another aggregators charge these fees. Love to know how Matcha is generating revenues? Any table or content around business models of other wallets is helpful in this place.

. Thanks

Great Q. I just double-checked: So although 0x has not been implementing protocol fees since 2021 (https://docs.0xprotocol.org/en/latest/basics/protocol_fees.html), Matcha does have some fees for a select group of tokens as can be found here: https://help.matcha.xyz/en/articles/3953360-are-there-any-fees-to-make-a-trade

AFAIK, 0x's main revenue source comes from its API.

As for the other wallets, I do not have data or insights into their business models. I would assume that most of them currently rely on raises or token sales to fund development & maintenance.
